For months, England and the rest of the world suffered lockdowns and isolation due to Covid-19. As of the beginning of 2021, I made it my goal to create work that is not based on the pandemic itself, but on the outside environments that now appear desolate, even after the lockdown has been lifted. This project, titled After 2020, takes a look at London and its changing atmosphere, from landmarks such as Picadilly Circus and Tower Bridge to the underground. Featuring high saturations and plays on geometric shapes within their architectural structures, these images explore the environments around London in an unfamiliar manner.
