Months of lockdown left England, and much of the world, still and silent. By early 2021, I set myself a challenge: to create work not focused on the pandemic itself, but on the traces it left behind in our surroundings.
This project, After 2020, explores London’s shifting atmosphere, capturing how once-bustling spaces now feel strangely empty. From Piccadilly Circus and Tower Bridge to the depths of the Underground, I turned my lens to landmarks and everyday spaces that feel transformed.
Using high saturation and an emphasis on geometric forms, I reimagined these environments in a way that feels both vibrant and desolate. The result is a portrait of London that is at once familiar and unfamiliar—caught between its past rhythms and its uncertain future.
