Memory Chronicles is a collection of repurposed archival images representing my Grandmother's recollections of past events. As a challenge to my photographic abilities, the series aims to visually engage its viewer, who lacks context, through the manipulation of textures and layers combined with both physical and digital methods. By presenting such a situation, it forces an active relationship between the viewer and the picture, creating a personal understanding of the subject's experience.
